This 5.5 mm Selma® splicing fid is designed for splicing Dyneema®, Vectran®, and other braided ropes. With an inside diameter of 5.5 mm, it is perfect for splicing 5 to 6 mm lines. For smaller lines (3 to 4 mm), we recommend the 4.0 mm Selma splicing needle (SL913661).
